The age group most impacted was 20-49 year olds, which made up 62 percent of the injuries.
That study shows that only 13 percent of those 5,800 injuries due to falls came from the roof. But 43 percent of the injuries were linked to falls from ladders. The statistic serves as an important reminder about the need for ladder safety during the holiday season, especially in the cold climate.
